The project is based on experimental RFC 2676. 

 

September:

Research on the mutiple QoS based networkin technologies. Finalised on QoS extension for OSPF.

October:

1. Every team member did individual reading of RFC2676.

2. Team meetings to discuss the project related subsections of RFC2676.

3.  Team meetings to discuss and brainstorm the design of each component of the project.

​

November:

1. Design of each subsection completed.

2. OSPF implementation on sample topologies in Exo-GENI done.

3. Changed the routing protocol daemon from Quagga to BIRD 

4. Dropped BIRD and developed custom script

5. Implemented the LSA Handler Module, QoS Mark-up and Forward, QoS path table Creator and Congestion Reporter.

6. In team meetings, tested several cases and reported results.
